Terms of Service
These terms govern access to the current Decubed preview, website, and related runtime surfaces.
Scope
Decubed is a local-first AI workspace that may connect to:
- local runtimes
- hosted model APIs
- linked provider accounts
- external tools, files, and operating system capabilities
Some parts of the product are still in preview. Features, limits, and availability may change while the service is being developed.
Eligibility And Accounts
You may use Decubed only if you are legally permitted to enter these terms and to use the product in your jurisdiction.
If an account is required, you are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information
- keeping credentials and linked provider access secure
- reviewing who has access to your workspaces and devices
- using the product only for authorized team or personal use
You are responsible for activity that happens through your account or linked credentials.
Your Workspace Data
You keep ownership of the prompts, files, thread history, memory records, and other content you bring into Decubed.
You give Decubed only the rights needed to:
- host or sync the service where applicable
- render, process, and transmit your inputs
- perform model requests and tool actions you initiate
- maintain logs, backups, and abuse prevention systems
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to upload, process, or share the content placed into a workspace.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Decubed to:
- break the law or violate another party's rights
- gain unauthorized access to devices, accounts, or data
- distribute malware, spam, or deceptive content
- abuse provider accounts, rate limits, or billing arrangements
- bypass permission, approval, or policy controls
- reverse engineer or interfere with the service in a way that harms the product or other users
You may not present the service as fully autonomous or guaranteed-safe when human review is still required for a workflow.
Models, Tools, And Third-Party Services
Decubed can route requests through third-party providers, linked accounts, local runtimes, and tool integrations.
Those third-party services may have their own:
- terms
- privacy rules
- rate limits
- billing
- retention behavior
Decubed is not responsible for the policies of those third parties. You are responsible for reviewing the providers and tools you choose to connect.
Preview Limitations
The current release may include:
- incomplete features
- unstable behavior
- changing APIs or data formats
- temporary outages
- compatibility gaps between providers or devices
Do not rely on the preview for workflows that require guaranteed uptime, legal retention, regulated handling, or business continuity unless you have independently validated the setup.
Suspension And Termination
Decubed may suspend or terminate access if needed to:
- investigate abuse or security incidents
- comply with law or valid legal process
- prevent harm to the service, other users, or connected providers
- respond to repeated violations of these terms
You may stop using the service at any time. Some operational or legal records may still need to be retained after account closure.
Disclaimers
Decubed is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
No promise is made that the preview will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every workflow. Model outputs, tool actions, and provider responses can be incomplete, wrong, delayed, or unsafe without review.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Decubed will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use of the service.
If the law does not allow a full exclusion, liability will be limited to the narrowest amount the law permits.
Changes
These terms may change as the product changes. The current version posted on this route controls going forward once it is published.
Contact
Questions about these terms should be sent through the current Decubed contact channel published on this site or inside the active product build.
